Description: ATM 4455 is a blended product fortified with penetrating agents to give optimum protection. The calcium sulphonate-based, easy-to-apply product leaves the metal surface completely covered to offer excellent protection against sea water and atmospheric oxidation.
Purpose: For rust coating and rust proofing of steel parts for storage and overseas shipping.
Dilution: Use as is in a spray bottle.
Direction: Fill bottle with ATM 4455 undiluted, spray directly on to the surface, and allow dripping and drying. Repeat if necessary. The film will dry in about 1 hour. The film thickness may be controlled by repeated application. Usually one single coat will offer warehouse storage protection for over 12 months. Two coats are recommended for shipping via sealiners. Small pieces may be dipped and drip-dried.
Precaution: Do not get into eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Avoid breathing in vapor. Do not ingest. Keep container closed. Wear protective gloves. Do not mix with other chemical products.
