It all began circa 1870. We were told that our great grandparents were peasants who wandered the jungles collecting fruits and firewood to exchange for whatever they needed. Then came our grandparents who lived on church-owned properties and owned two bullock carts. They were a fairly well to do family in those days. Then came our father, a hard driving businessman who started with tea and coffee shops and expanded into milling, bakeries, and real estate…and then went bankrupt. But our story doesn’t end there.

Out of the ashes rose the phoenix and vow to never fall again. We migrated to new lands and began rebuilding. Tidol Corporation was established in 1981, almost 110 years later. Now, the enterprise is 40 years old and operated meticulously by professional managers.
